Join us for a 1st annual Early-Stage Investing information session and panel discussion. The evening is designed to enable beginner angel investors to improve their skills in understanding of the processes, terminology, screening and structuring of deals. Club members and guests welcome.

• Keynote – Andrew Clark, ex-CEO and Chairman of Houston Angel Network, discussing his experiences in getting started as an early stage investor and lessons he has learned about constructing a successful portfolio of angel investments.

• Panel 1 – Angel Investors, Venture Funds – The panel will discuss the opportunities and risks of investing in early stage companies, how angels can protect their investments when their portfolio companies seek later stage investment, and major trends the panelists are tracking.

• Panel 2 – Early Stage Companies and their Investors – A moderated discussion between entrepreneurs who successfully raised angel funding and their investors on how a successful early stage investment comes together.
