Fellow alumna and Yale Club member Bettina Elias Siegel (Pierson '87) has a book coming out on November 1st from Oxford University Press: Kid Food: The Challenge of Feeding Children in a Highly Processed World.  Her national book tour for Kid Food is kicking off on Sunday, November 3rd at 5 pm at Brazos Bookstore, where she will be interviewed by NYT contributor and Texas Monthly executive editor, Mimi Swartz and she would love her fellow Yalies to attend!

The book and the event should be of particular interest to Yalies with school-aged kids, and with folks who are just generally interested in food and food policy.

LINKS & A NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR ABOUT KID FOOD:

'Kid Food represents the culmination of almost ten years of writing exclusively about children and food policy issues, both for my blog,The Lunch Tray, and in publications such as the New York Times and the Houston Chronicle. (You can learn more about the book and read its advance praise at bettinasiegel.com, and you can learn more about me and my work from this Yale Alumni Magazine profile about me, which appeared in YAM's 2017 "food" issue.)'
