The HBS Club of Houston invites all Yale alumni to attend an upcoming HBS Executive Speaker Series event at The Petroleum Club on Tuesday, September 17th, featuring Lincoln Benet, Yale grad and CEO of Access Industries. Mr. Benet will share the origins of Access in the mid-80's and how it became a large holding company for many large companies. He will also discuss the strategy behind the current holdings and for the future. Please register by Friday, September 13th.

MORE ABOUT LINCOLN BENETMr. Benet is the Chief Executive Officer of Access Industries, the privately held industrial group with long-term holdings worldwide founded by Len Blavatnik. Its industrial focus targets three sectors: natural resources and chemicals, TMT and real estate. Access Industries has strategic investments in the United States, Europe and South America.
Prior to joining Access Industries in 2006, Mr. Benet was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, where he spent 17 years. His experience spanned corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, fixed income and capital markets.
Mr. Benet serves on the boards of Clal Industries and Warner Music Group.
Mr. Benet graduated with a BA summa cum laude in Economics from Yale University and received his MBA from Harvard Business School.
