'Women in The Workplace Salon'

The fee for this event is only $5 (covers copying and refreshments).  If you would like to join, please register through Eventbrite by November 8 so we can ensure we have all the logistics planned in time.

Following the traditions of the Enlightenment Salons of the `18th & 19th Centuries, we invite you to come socialize with women peers and join in a robust discussion on timely issues facing women in the workplace today.  Some topics we will explore include:
* Characteristics of females vs. males in power positions
* Office cultures and its impact on women
* Are women getting in their own way?
* Women bulling other women 
* The role of power
We will provide facilitators to keep the time and provide questions to focus the discussion.  To prepare, feel free to read from some or all of the reading selection below:
