Welcome to the Yale Club of Houston - An Evening with Da Camera

An Evening with Da Camera

Chamber Music and Jazz

Please join us for an evening with Da Camera (Chamber Music & Jazz) on Friday, March 3, 2017. The Brentano String Quartet is currently the Quartet-in-Residence at the Yale School of Music, and one of its members, Misha Amory, is a 1989 graduate of Yale College. They will perform a fascinating program that includes Bach's The Art of Fugue combined with an architectural structure designed by Gabriel Calatrava, dancers, and a short reading of a play. The performance will be held at the Cullen Theater, Wortham Theater Center. More details about the performance can be found via the link below.

The evening will begin at 7 pm where there will be an opportunity to mingle with other Yale Club members from Houston over drinks courtesy of a cash bar on the site. Then we will hear from the performers as well as Da Camera General Manager and Yale College graduate, Ab Sengupta (JE'94) and take our seats by 7:45 pm as the program will begin at 8 pm.

If interested in attending please, BOTH sign up on the Yale Club website and then actually purchase tickets on the Da Camera website. The RSVP on the Yale Club website is to indicate the number of tickets you will be purdchasing. (It will say they are free on the Yale Club Website). We need you to sign up on both so that we have headcount numbers. Ab and the folks at Da Camera have kindly set up a 20% discount for our group that will expire 10 days before the performance. With the discount, tickets range in price from $30 to $54. Please use the discount code "FUGUE" when purchasing the tickets.

We look forward to seeing many of you and your spouses/ friends there. Please contact Masu Haque Khan at masuhaque@yahoo.com with any questions.
