Redhot & Blue

Concert in Houston

Join the Yale Club of Houston for a full evening of a cappella with Yale University's Redhot & Blue, the university's oldest coed a cappella group. The group's extensive repertoire, which draws on a variety of genres ranging from jazz classics and Broadway hits to songs by the Beatles, is poised to entertain. The group will perform in Houston on Tuesday, March 11, at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston as part of their spring tour in Texas.

Founded in 1977 with the intent of reviving jazz classics in a coed format, the group has recorded 14 studio albums and its genre-spanning focus helps differentiate itself from some of the university's other a cappella groups.  The group has performed across the United States, including performances at the White House and Carnegie Hall, and has taken recent performance trips to London, Madrid, Paris, Italy and Greece. On a special note, Houston native and St. John's School graduate Atissa Ladjevardian is an alto for the group.
