Welcome to the Yale Club of Houston - Travel in Antarctica

Travel in Antarctica

Come hear two Yale Club members describe journeys to Antarctica

February 11, 2014,
6:00 pm to 7:30 pm

Event location:  Christ the King Lutheran Church
2353 Rice Blvd, Houston 77005
This free Yale Club event is a presentation of travel to the southernmost continent by two Houston alumni who have been there recently. Steve Long and Bill Guest will provide an introduction, with photographs and discussion, to those who are curious about visiting this remote part of the world.
Antarctica is very desolate, but during the summer months, the ocean and nearby islands are teeming with wildlife.
We will start early -- 6:00 pm -- so that persons who attend will have the remainder of the evening free for dinner and other plans.

Although there is no charge, we ask that you RSVP, to give us a count of likely participants.
Hope to see you there!
